The worst train rail accident in California which killed 25 and injures 135 people is when either a Metrolink engineer ran through the red light of a Union Pacific train last Sept. 12 causing the Chatsworth crash. This disaster could have been prevented with automatic braking systems that has been first recommended 70 years ago by federal safety officials. Metrolink made a gamble in 20 years ago by sharing the rails with the two giant freight lines and rejecting to employ a automated braking system making it the world's deadliest railroad in the decade.
