To tell local business leaders, as well as government leaders that Maine’s investment in passenger rail service has significantly delivered benefits that even exceeded what planners had expected, a land developer from Maine had visited the city of Dayton on September the fifteenth, which was Tuesday.
It was said by Martin that Maine had invested less than one hundred million dollars, and that this little figure triggered over seven billion dollars in additional construction investment. New commercial space, as well as new jobs was the result.
