ClickShipNGo.com provides free, real time quotes from the industry’s best carriers that are price competitive.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

A void in the marketplace. We were unable to find a similar site that offers outstanding customer service. That's our competitive advantage.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

1996. A personal site with my resume.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Group decision.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We try to emphasize excellent value. We offer price competitive services with outstanding customer service. This is lacking in the competition.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our mission is to be the customer’s first choice for their total shipping needs by providing efficient access to the most affordable, quality services. And, to provide Quality Customer Service, meaning giving our customers exactly what they want, when they want it.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Dedicating time and money certainly improve the probability of success. It's hard work and perseverance, however, that are the critical elements for success. Loving what you do makes it all the easier!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I wouldn't change a thing with regard to the development.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes. We planned for scalability.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

The everyday headaches that all major projects deal with. Nothing out of the ordinary.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Balancing our core business, transportation auditing & consulting, with launching this new endeavor.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Telemarketing, and network marketing. You need to know everything about your target customer base.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

You don't open the 'doors' and wait for your customers to come to you. You need to work hard to get the word out, and earn their business.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Three months. As long as we keep growing.
