To accommodate these types of travelers, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced that it will expand its popular family lanes to every airport in the country. More on this here at MarketWatch.com

New TSA screening plan need new IT system

By Website Introductions at 12/01/08 21:15
The proposed new screening system of the Transportation Security Administration will require an overhaul of existing Information Technology systems in the country's airports, said TSA officials.

This new screening process will involve requiring air travelers to be prescreened against the government terrorist watch list. The transformation will initially cost airlines close to around $500 million.
